Every woman deserves to have a shoe named after her, so we name all shoes after the wonderful, strong women around us. Some of them are Danish business leaders, others are ladies who have inspired our founder Frederikke on a personal level.

What they all have in common is their decision to stand up for who they are and live life the way they want to - we lovingly call them our roccamore rebels.

Meet the women behind our bestselling leather boots with hunky heel:

Tina

Tina is a true roccamore rebel, in fact she owns 7+ pairs of our shoes! We wanted to thank her for her support, by naming this beautiful soft beige boot after her. Tina is a personal inspiration, a collection of contradictions - and she never apologies for it. She wears heels - and she drives a forklift for work! She is strong and honest, outspoken and kind. We just love her.

Anne

Anne Sophie had a dream of making a sustainable hair salon. A place where hairdressers and customers wouldn’t have to be exposed to all the hurtful chemicals in today’s products, but instead be treated with the very best green ingredients. Few people believed in her vision back then, but today her salon Zenz is an international success. What others considered as “too much out of the box” today is the standard of luxury hair salons - Anne Sophie just knew it before them.

Faye

Faye Dunaway is an award-winning American actress, starring in iconic roles of rebellious women such as Bonnie from 1967s Bonnie and Clyde. A front-runner for women being given leading roles on Broadway, her career included multiple high points as well as turbulent times - and yet she relentlessly pursued her passion. She inspires us to reach for the stars and arm ourselves with patience.
